A Baker salon chair, designed by Barbara Barry, according to the dealer, and 80cm wide. It is an arm chair, and a generous one. The dealer is plain about its condition: it needs a good recover. Of its date, the note says nothing, and nothing is guessed here.

It would suit someone with a favourite fabric already chosen and an upholsterer already on the telephone. The frame is the purchase; the cover is a project, and the project is half the pleasure for the right sort of person.
